Hoa Mai Orphanage
Hoa Mai Orphanage began with the quiet hope of a French man who had seen war up close and understood its deepest cost, on children. Though he never got to act on that hope, his son, Olivier Rodien, carried it forward. And in a small coastal village in southern Vietnam, he turned that hope into something real.
That was 1994. Since then, Hoa Mai has become a sanctuary. Steady, grounded, and full of heart.
Around 150 children have grown up here. More than 100 have left with not just education, but dignity, direction, and a deep sense of community. Some return as mentors. Others as carers. One, Ms. Tram, now helps run the home she once grew up in proof of what this place quietly builds.
Today, 35 kids live under its roof. School-aged children head off each morning to public classrooms. Older teens learn trades or prep for university. Each journey shaped by guidance, structure, and the kind of care that doesn’t end when a child turns 18. Here, they stay until 22, celebrated with a coming-of-age ceremony when they’re ready to step out into the world.
Hoa Mai runs lean. No air-conditioning. No social media fundraising. Just the deep commitment of Olivier and a few local supporters keeping the lights on…literally.
Now, those lights are solar-powered.
With free, green energy flowing through the facility, savings once spent on electricity can go straight into food, schooling, and everyday essentials. For the team here, that changes everything.
Because Hoa Mai has never been about surviving.
It’s about lifting kids high enough to thrive.

Adelaide Window & Door Solutions has built a reputation for craftsmanship and quality, supplying high-performance aluminium windows and doors across South Australia. But beyond the frames they install, there’s a bigger picture, one that’s now helping brighten the lives of children in need.
By joining the Solar Connected PPA program, Adelaide Window & Door Solutions found a way to save on their own power bills while doing good for the world. Their participation means that a portion of the proceeds from their solar system is now helping to fund solar energy systems for orphanages across Southeast Asia.
Hoa Mai Orphanage was the first to benefit, receiving a fully funded solar installation that will reduce energy costs and redirect vital savings back to where it matters most: education, food, and long-term care for the children.
This is what impact looks like when businesses step up. It’s not just about what you build, it’s about the future you help create. And thanks to Adelaide Window & Door Solutions, that future just got a little brighter for dozens of children.
In Proud Artistic Collaboration With
Mada
Mada doesn’t build just with brushes, but also builds with feeling. And colour. Always colour. Born in Indonesia, Mada has been an artist since he was a child.
At the centre of his world is Ainz, a masked character that’s not just imagined, but lived. Ainz is Mada’s way of moving freely, creating without limits, and expressing all the things that can’t be said out loud. It’s not just a persona; it’s a portal to joy, tension, calm, and chaos. All wrapped in vibrant strokes of blue and orange.
For this collaboration, Mada brought Ainz into our world.
The art he created for Little Sunshine Pledge isn’t just visually bold. It’s emotionally generous. Rooted in childhood, but not stuck in it. It’s the kind of work that speaks without words and feels like hope, gently unmasked.
We were honoured to collaborate with him. And now, his colours will shine in places that have waited far too long for light.

Mada never set out to change the world with his art. He just hoped it made someone smile.
“To be honest, I didn’t expect anything. If people feel happiness when they see my artwork, that’s more than enough.”
But this time, something bigger happened.
This wasn’t just another art collection. It was a chance to create for someone. To tap into joy, to draw from the heart of a child, and to turn that feeling into something real.
“The only difference is… I had to create a character who was child. So I had to really feel what children feel to bring those pieces to life.”
You can see it in the way the colours move. Bright, bold, filled with joyness and happiness. His words, his vision. A collection that doesn’t just tell a story, but feels like one.
And when he found out it would help power an orphanage?
“I feel so happy. I never expected that my artwork could help an orphanage. It’s such an incredible feeling.”
This is what makes the collection special. Not just the art, but the intention behind every stroke. A piece of Mada’s heart. Unfiltered, honest, and full of light.
